Niki & Johan, and how you can live your dreams and mission.
Our path
Since our trip to Crete in September 2014, we became aware that our lifestyle no longer aligned with what our hearts were telling us. This marked the start of a new project, "Fairco," which for over six years gave our lives a new purpose: inspiring and informing people about a sustainable way of life. "Fair" and in "Co"-operation with other families spread across Europe and North Africa.
In our Leuven shop, we sold their artisanal products.
When Covid-19 shook the entire planet awake in 2020, Mother Earth began to fight back with great natural force, and the entire system of society came under pressure, we realized that we had to answer the call of nature. A new adventure beckoned on the horizon. Pappie, Niki's dad, took the leap with us.
On July 5, 2021, we stepped into our motorhome, left Belgium behind, and set off for a new adventure to the South of Spain, where a different life awaited us.
Our own place
We found a beautiful place in La Escucha near Lorca, in the province of Murcia. Here we started our dream and mission and built a new beginning.
Johan immersed himself in natural farming and square food gardening, while Niki's professional activities as a coach, hypnotherapist, and energy healer were expanded to include retreats.
Our dream was put on hold for a while when we did not receive permission to expand our guest rooms. After 4 years, we chose to exchange this place for another home in a dream location.
Where we belong
On July 8, 2025, we moved to Cortijo Los Titos in Velez-Rubio (Almeria). An idyllic place where we can welcome our guests with great warmth.
For the time being, our activities are on hold during the renovation of the cortijo. You can only book individual therapeutic sessions with Niki via her website www.onewithyourtrueself.com

With a warm heart and an open mind, I guide people towards more peace, balance, and self-confidence.
As a coach, hypnotherapist, and energy healer (Emotion Code & Reiki), I help you let go of blockages such as negative emotions and negative thoughts, break old compelling and hindering patterns, and reconnect with your inner strength.
My approach is intuitive, holistic, and fully tailored to your unique process – so that you find the space to grow, heal, and shine. More about the therapeutic sessions .
Pursuing a natural and healthy lifestyle is an important part of my approach. I am happy to share my personal experience with this natural lifestyle with you during our workshops.
I would be happy to complement a pampering day for Body & Soul with a relaxing and healing Reiki session, Emotion Code session, meditation, or Sound healing.
Writing is one of my great passions. As an author, I focus on topics that align with my professional activities and experience.

JOHAN BERTRANDS
Since my retirement and our life in Spain, my attention has shifted to what occupies me most now: health in the broadest sense of the word.
I believe that our body has been entrusted to us – and that we may treat it consciously and with care, not only by treating complaints, but precisely by preventing them.
Health begins with the choices we make every day: what we eat, how we move, how we find rest, and how we maintain mental balance. Healthy sleep, a healthy diet, regular medical check-ups, and the use of natural care and maintenance products also play an important role in this. Nutrition occupies a special place in this.
I enjoy sharing my experience with growing my own vegetables, square foot gardening, natural farming, and preserving the harvest from my own garden. As a trained Tea Sommelier, I would love to tell you more about tea in the "What about tea" workshop.
In addition, I draw inspiration from centuries-old wisdom of Chinese medicine. Qi Gong, for example, is a simple yet powerful way to strengthen your energy and support your health.
